SONOR ProLite Sound
The core of the ProLite series is the sound spectrum provided by the extremely thin Vintage Maple shells with reinforcement ring. These provide an unmistakably open sound and an enormously wide tuning range for practically all styles of music. SONOR’s Vintage Maple shell is characterized by a soft, warm tone that highlights the lower pitches and provides balance in the mid-range and treble, without sacrificing projection and power.

The Studio 1 Configuration features a 17.5″x20 BD, 10″x8″ and 12″x9″ TT, and 14″x14″ FT. Available in our Richfield Store. Come in and play or call for pricing.

Ian Prince has been supplying the backbone for top-notch Minneapolis indie bands for well over a decade. Possessing the perfect combination of play-for-the-song sensibility and face-melting technical prowess, Prince is an undeniable powerhouse on the drums. He plays each gig as if it were his last — digging into every stroke with stoic conviction while exuding unbridled passion for his craft.

Prince is a drummer’s drummer, so naturally we at Ellis wanted to sit down with him to see what makes him tick.
